Naples is special every day of the year, but the holidays bring out the very best! With Thanksgiving at the doorstep, it’s little wonder that our community is gearing up for a sparking holiday season…from Crayton Cove all the way to The Mercato, holiday spirit is kicking in!

It’s already happening down on Third Street South. The tree lighting is November 24, followed by the annual Celebration of Lights events every night through November 30.

Starting November 29, the Villlage at Venetian Bay hosts its “Let it Snow” event, with more than 100,000 lights, entertainment, kids’ activities, and special appearances by Santa himself. And, yes, snow!

You’ll see visions of sugarplums as you tour historic Palm Cottage during the holiday season. Combine the beauty of this historic setting with seasonal decorations at their finest - it’s a day you’ll remember!

The tree’s aglow at The Mercato starting December 3. You’ll enjoy the majestic tree, music, and dance performances at one of Naples’ premier shopping and dining destinations.  The very next day, come back for the annual Holiday Collector Car Show on December 4.

If you love tradition, you’ll love the 40th annual Tree Lighting and Christmas Walk on Fifth Avenue South.  Festivities begin early, at 5 pm. Capture the spirit as you enjoy music, holiday decor, food, and lights in the heart of Naples.

Everyone loves a parade, and Naples is no exception. This year’s event kicks off on December 9 at 6 pm. Watch along Fifth Avenue South, Broad, Third St. South, and 8th.  On December 13, head to Tin City or Crayton Cove to watch the lighted boat parade at 6:15.

Want something a bit more original? Well, Naples has that too. December 18, find your way to Sugden Plaza on Fifth Avenue South for…ready for it?….TUBA Christmas! Music begins on the Plaza at 6:30, leaving plenty of time to browse the decorated shops on Fifth and choose your favorite spot for drinks, dinner or dessert.

No discussion of the holidays in Naples is complete without mention of the traditional decorative displays in the Victoria Park neighborhood, located off Airport-Pulling between Naples Blvd. and Vanderbilt Beach Rd. Pull in after dark, turn off your headlights, and enjoy this community’s gift to all of us here in Naples. You’ll hear live music, have the chance to donate to Relay for Life, and feel the joy of the season.

Finally, please indulge me for a moment of reflection at this special time of year. I am privileged to know you as wonderful clients and friends. As we work together to meet your real estate needs, many of us have developed lasting friendships. It’s a true joy to work with each of you, and I wish you a beautiful holiday season!
